Discovering an object or a place designed by Philippe Starck is like entering a world of intense imagination, fertile surprises and phantasmagoria. For more than 30 years, this creator, designer and architect, author of thousands of projects, has always placed himself outside the conventions. Starck puts his tireless inventiveness at the service of a vision: that creation, whatever form it takes, makes life better for the greatest number of people. Through his concept of “democratic design”, increasing the quality of objects to lower prices in order to give the best to the greatest number of people, Starck appeared as a pioneer when design was intended exclusively for an elite.
