Discovered in 1997 by Giulio Cappellini, the two Bouroullec brothers were entrusted with their first industrial projects at Cappellini’s. From this collaboration was born this amazing square vase composed of two faience plates to superpose.

Winning duo… The two Breton brothers Erwan and Ronan Bouroullec are real icons of the contemporary design scene. Respectively graduates of École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs (Paris) and École nationale supérieure d’arts (Cergy-Pontoise), Ronan (born in 1971) and Erwan (born in 1976) joined forces in 1999 to work within a permanent dialogue and a common demand towards more accuracy and delicacy: “We feed on each other’s differences and we progress…”
